Empowerment Through Play

Program Description:

The Empowerment Through Play (ETP) program is Play2EDUCATE’s flagship program that works directly with youth between the ages of 14-18 years old. ETP participants attend programming on a biweekly basis for a full school year with the aim of developing critical life skills (i.e. violence prevention, diversity appreciation). ETP consists of simulation games, dialogue sessions, and engagement with practical life skills. The goal is to foster the development of awareness and empathy as a means of creating a tolerant more inclusive society. Upon successful completion of all ETP program requirements, participants graduate from the program and are awarded certificates from P2E.
